Hi everyone,
I have been having fun making lots of flowers as shown on Create & Craft this week by Anna Marie from annamariedesigns.co.uk. They are such pretty flowers on there own or when they are grouped together as you can see from the photo, I thought I would do a quick tutorial for you in case you missed the show.
|
Die-cut rings using two sizes of circle dies together |
|
Fold into quarters and cut into fringe from the outside all the way along |
|
Open out carefully and make a cut |
|
stick double sided tape all around the inside |
|
Stick the staemen onto the edge of the tape and begin to roll fringe around it |
|
make sue the edge is kept level and roll all the way along |
|
Gently shape the petals |
|
Ink a little distress ink around the edges to finish |
Hope you have fun making your own.
Hugs Mo x

These flowers are super. I might have to give this a go myself when I can stop coughing.
ReplyDeleteHi Mo, I did see the show but you have made it so much easier to follow, with your tutorial. Definitely going to have a go at this, since I just happen to have some of those wonderful stamens.... Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeletePS - the tickets arrived safe and sound today - yippee!
Thanks for the great tut Mo..Is there such a thing as a fringing tool? seems to ring a bell - think I would need that LOL... they are beautiful flowers though...thanks again..Gill x
ReplyDeleteAmazing stuff... thanks so much for the tutorial! Would herb scissors work do you suppose - those ones with several blades on?

Hi Alison, thanks for your visit, I think the fringe or herb scissors might do the trick, but I am not sure how big the fringe is, the smaller the cuts the better the flower.
DeleteThanks so much for the wonderful tutorial. Have been hunting for flower tutorials and this is perfect! Gorgeous flowers! Lots of love from Laura xxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteHello Mo, fabby tutorial - thank you! I missed the show on C&C so it's great to see it here :). Your flowers look so lovely! x
