Having fun with Tando Art Parts

Hello Everyone

Hope you are enjoying some of the beautiful weather over the UK at the moment, it sure is nice to feel the heat of the sun after the recent chilly spell.

Yesterday I joined a group of lovely ladies over at Mattishall in Norfolk  where Di from Tando was running a Mixed Media workshop using DecoArt products on a selection of Tando art parts (Thanks to my bestie Anne for letting me know about this class).  We each made a lovely wall hanging under Di's expert tuition and this is how mine turned out.
Unfortunately I got that engrossed in making the hanging, I forgot to take step by step photos! sorry! I will try to remember next time. We had plenty of lovely Tando Art parts to choose from which were each decorated as we wanted, plus a piece of hessian and the lovely large word CREATE.
As we were using Di's stamps I am not sure which ones they are, but I love the combination of the large crackle stamp and the crackle paint against the weave & texture of the hessian

We had to be brave and write our own wording rather than stamp them (I think this was to bring us out of our comfort zone). I think it is good to trust your own handwriting sometimes as it also brings originality into a piece.
The picture below shows how different all the hangings turned out once everyone had put their own twist on Di's original design (2nd from the left).
I think they all look lovely and I think a great time was had by all so Thank you Di and I for one look forward to what you have in store for us next month.
