WOYWW 196

Hello everyone, and welcome to my new followers Lyn, Kay, Vickie and Miek welcome aboard lovely to have you with me on my crafty journey.  Its Wednesday so its time for  us to show each other whats on our workdesks with our host Julia so why not join in the fun at stamping-ground.blogspot.com.
So what is on my desk?????
I know it looks a bit staged, but I had just finished inking and stamping a few different colours of background papers and tidied up for the night up last night.  I am ready to use the papers with my new woodware its a hoot stamp I purchased yesterday. Owls are a particular favourite of mine and I tried to resist him but I heard him say please take me home.  I had a go at the faux quilted  effect shown by Joanne Allison in the latest issue of Craft Stamper for the background of my card and I really like the effect.  I am going to paperpiece Mr Owl with my background papers then maybe a little doodling around him to make a frame.
I met up for coffee with my lovely friend Anne yesterday and in the next photo just have a little nosey at what presents she brought for me. Isn't this little book for my blog friends details just the cutest thing you ever did see? It was made by the very talented Lynn Holland oneimadeearliertoday.blogspot.com as you can probably tell by the sweet little Doodley birds.  The beautiful tissue paper is what it came so carefully wrapped in, I love it.  There is also little packet of pretty wooden buttons and a whole stash of friendly plastic for me to play with.  Anyone who follows Anne's  blog will remember the lovely pin cushions she made recently and now I am the proud owner of this one. Just a note that  Anne (Redanne) may well not be able to join us on WOYWW today as the builders accidentally cut off her Internet but she asked me to pass on her apologies for not being able to say hello to all her blog friends today and she will catch up  with everyone very soon.
Thank you to everyone who left such lovely comments on my workshop cards last week I was very touched. I will try to get around as many desks as I can and will visit everyone who comments on my desk.
Have a very Happy Day. BBFN Hugs Mo x

  10. Hi MO,
That is one cute owl that wanted to come home with you. They seem to be the "rage" right now, even in home decor. I only have one SMALL owl, but deffinately would like a mate to yours.

Your Hoot stamp is adoreable and I can just hear him hooting out to you in the store! Thank you for coming by the Playhouse earlier and for your sweet thoughts. I'll see you in a couple of weeks! Darnell #50
